Celebrating the Culture of Karamoja
Having lived and served in Karamoja for over four years, I have come to deeply appreciate the beauty, resilience, and rich cultural heritage of the Karimojong people. This photo, taken with two of my friends while we were dressed in traditional Karimojong attire, is a special reminder of the meaningful relationships I have built within the community.
Living among the people has given me the privilege of learning from their traditions, values, and way of life. I believe that genuine service begins with respect, understanding, and a willingness to embrace the culture of the people we serve.
Karamoja has become more than a place where I minister—it is a community that has shaped me, strengthened my faith, and continually reminds me of the value of love, friendship, and unity across cultures.
