About Joshua Jackson

Message from the Founder

Praise the name of the living God! My name is Joshua Jackson from Uganda, and I am honored to share my journey with you. Growing up in a polygamous family, life was challenging, and access to education was one of the greatest struggles my siblings and I faced. I spent years in Grade Five, not due to lack of ability, but because I couldn’t afford school fees. To support my education, I hawked fruits and worked in gardens until, by God’s grace, I completed college. Today, I am a teacher by profession, with a diploma in theology and a certificate in children’s ministry.
I was born and raised in a polygamous family and so life was not that easy, access to education was the hardest part of my life and my siblings. I remember studying Grade Five for years. This wasn’t because I was a weak learner but due to lack of school fees to join grade six which was more expensive. I always raised my tuition by hawking fruits and digging in people’s gardens until gracious God helped me to finish college. My family is Anglican so I often went to church but did not have a personal relationship with Christ till 2009 through a missionary team that came to our village. While on my sick bed and nothing seemed to work out and at a point of death, this group of missionaries came home, preached to mum who at that point accepted Christ. Her strong faith that Jesus was the source of life and the only source of my healing truly didn’t let her down. I was healed. It was during this visitation that I got to know Christ as well and also deepen my faith in Him. My walk with Christ has been of great help to me and to people around me. My completion is as a result of trusting in God more and knowing He purposed my life to success.
