Enamor of Peace & Hope-Africa (EPH-AFRICA) was founded to extend a helping hand to the people of Karamoja through evangelism and discipleship, education, health care support, economic empowerment as well as child protection programs. We believe that through this together we can build self-reliant communities with a secure and poverty free mindset.
We cannot eradicate poverty completely, but through a positive mindset, people can view life differently and therefore learn to trust God for a better living. Our primary target is providing education to young children from baby class (4yrs) to Grade Two (9yrs).
To empower the youths, we engage them in income generating activities that can enable them raise money for their tuition and as well meet their scholastic requirements such as books, school uniform among others.
EPH-AFRICA together with legal authorities ensures there is a safe and trauma-free environment for the children and youths. We create an open environment where children come and share their challenges with confidence that someone will listen to them, guide them and as well keep their concerns secret. This has given room for children to heal from internal wounds through the words of encouragement they get.
Mission Alignment: A safe and trauma-free environment is crucial, particularly for girls, to allow them achieve their goals and contribute to the growth and development of the community. Another aspect of our ministry is providing child evangelism and discipleship through spreading the gospel and ensuring the community we serve has the opportunity to grow spiritually, even in isolated regions.
